Seasons

Seasons Autumn The autumn leaves are falling down, Slowly, slowly touch the ground, Leaves don’t make a single sound, Except a little whoosh. Winter is coming soon, I wonder if there is a full moon, But while autumn is still carrying on, Winter has to sleep. Winter The bushes and the trees are bare, Giving everyone a little scare, Snowballs flying through the frost, Snowmen rising into high blue cloth. Food is scarce, And fruit has passed, Birds are huddling, crabs are scuttling, Only in Winter. Summer The trees are relaxing in the sun, Growing slowly one by one, Walking on the beach, Makes you want to preach. Working in summer,   Don’t even think about saying bummer, It’s so  much fun, Especially in summer. An unexpected visitor in an egg

One stormy time, in a night full of gloom, there was a yellow bird who was expecting a baby. A tiny, hopeless, shiny, thin, yellow bird just like her mother. Then one day she hatched, and what a surprise! She found a brown muscular bird like a lion. Wow! The  egg shell was cracked in half but eaten up in one gulp. The mother bird was totally petrified but she knew that she was a caring bird, so she made up her mind to go and get some food for her adopted baby. The bird followed and started up higher.

I was staring out the window waiting for the rain to stop when my little sister burst in the door, panting, puffing and big smiles all over their faces,  I was stunned from her appearance. “ Tomorrow I have to go to a conference with the prime minister and King George the 2 nd so you have to be very good for your mummy.” I said. But all the same they got up to mischief and that afternoon I arrived back from the conference. “ When did it arrive?” I said. Silence. Giggling appeared to be coming from upstairs. Cleaning time for everyone!

Ballet

It was Anna’s first day at Ballet School and she was so excited! She was frantically scurrying around the place getting everything ready. But her mum was just sitting down on the couch under a blanket sipping a cup of hot chocolate and recovering from her daughter making a whirlwind all around the house. What she really wanted was a pair of crimson ballet shoes and a matching tutu! Then surprisingly, she shouted “ I can’t wait!” Her mum finally decided to get off the couch, looking very grave . She drove Anna through the misty darkness. “Have fun!” said Mum.
