A life of misery “Morning Mum,morning Dad,”mumbled Fred the thin, tiny hopeless boy,as he gulped down a rushed breakfast of cornflakes. “Visiting Joel today,”informed Fred. Before he could touch the door handle his mom called him ”Honey, now remember that we’re going out to the gym today and won’t be back till 5pm.” Bye, thought Fred rushing Off. “Hello”he called into the empty, yellow house  peering at his watch. It was 6pm. He stared at the door. Just then a knock on it startled him. Must be them, he thought. But it wasn’t. Instead it was a grim looking man holding a shiny object. The shattered remains of his father’s watch.

Elizabeth's missing toy

Elizabeth's missing toy The shiny, yellow sun came up in Glendowie as Elizabeth realised that her favorite toy was missing from her collection. It was hopeless trying to find it because it was white and practically everything in her house was white as well. After about ten minutes of searching Elizabeth decided to go outside, she saw thin twigs on tree branches swaying from left to right. The next day Elizabeth went into the charity shop to see if she could find another toy to replace the one she lost but when she walked in she found it sitting in the toy section.
